Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi and her husband, Nigerian music Mogul Mr. Banky W. On Easter, Sunday in the waterbrook church revealed how they lost their twins and how many times they tried conceiving before they birthed their son Zaiah, this was revealed in a video shared on Banky W's YouTube channel.
In the video, the couple recounted how they tried making babies immediately after their wedding in 2017 and failed in several attempts.
Then decided to try IVF after one year of their marriage which was successful at first, according to Adesua account, her scan result showed that she was pregnant with twin babies and that made her and her husband very excited, they decided to run a second scan test some months into the pregnancy, the result came out with a piece of shocking and negative news. They were told by their doctor that their twins' heartbeats had stopped.
Adesua said she remained positive after hearing the bad news in the hospital but when she got home she wailed from her soul, crying to God.
They waited few days and had a third scan which confirmed that their twins were dead, after evacuating the dead babies from her. Adesua described that period as the most challenging period in their lives as they were constantly being mocked and sometimes cyberbully about their situation of childlessness. They decided to try another IVF which didn't work out this time, but still, their faith in God was constant. Watch the full video below.
