As at 08:05 am on the 22nd of March, 2020 there are 26 confirmed cases of COVID19 Coronavirus recorded in Nigeria.
According to statement from the official Twitter handle of Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC )
3 new cases were reported in Lagos State, with travel history to high-risk countries in the last 7 days, and One new case of the novel virus was confirmed in Oyo state. So far, Of the 26 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death. They are working closely with Lagos State Ministry of Health to identify & follow up with contacts tracing.
List of states with confirmed cases of COVID19 in Nigeria are as follows:
1.19 cases of COVID19 in Lagos
2. 3 cases of COVID19 in Abuja FCT
3.2 cases of COVID19 in Ogun state
4. 1 case COVID19 in Ekiti state
5. 1 case COVID19 in Oyo state
